Abstract

The purpose of this article is to provide Secondary School teachers with a tool for teaching isometrics. This is a teaching unit has been designed for the 3rd year of ESO usable for teaching both Academic Maths and Applied Maths. This unit aims to facilitate the understanding and learning of rigid motions of the plane. The work in the different sessions allows students starting from what they already know and progress from simplest concepts to complex ones by visualising, manipulating and solving a set of Geogebra activities.
