This study aims to analyse the role of international organisations in regulating and promoting the ethical use of artificial intelligence (AI) in educational research, highlighting their contributions to designing public policies to bridge technological gaps and foster inclusive education. A qualitative methodology was employed based on documentary reviews of reports and statements from organisations such as UNESCO, the OECD, and the European Union. Additionally, postgraduate course syllabi from relevant research fields were reviewed. Although AI presents ethical and technical challenges, its implementation has the potential to revolutionise educational research.
