Abstract

This study examines how educators adopt new AI methodologies in their pedagogical approaches, exploring their perceptions, experiences, and challenges. Using surveys of 272 university lecturers in Paraguay, the research aims to understand the impact of AI on educational quality and its integration with transformative pedagogy. The objectives include investigating the relationship between learning and AI, enhancing teacher feedback, facilitating collaborative learning, and addressing ethical and social challenges. AI in higher education offers opportunities to improve educational quality and personalise learning, necessitating ongoing training and institutional support for effective and ethical integration.
