Abstract

The educational system has integrated the ICTs and active methodologies as key elements in the learning process. However, introducing the ICTs might have resulted in a series of undesired consequences. this study claims a conceptualisation of the terms Digital breach and Service-learning and shows the specific obstacles generated by the different Digital breach types in a variety of social contexts. the purpose of this paper is to present a current view of the Digital breach and tackle the spring of Service-learning projects to minimise the range of issues caused by the Digital breach in several educational contexts at primary, secondary and tertiary levels.
