Abstract

At the beginning of the 21st century our educational system started an important transformation process that was going to evolve from a prominently academic model to a competency-based model, more in line with the training demands of today's citizens. All along this time centres from all educational stages have been incorporating methodological strategies in order to develop the their students' competences. This article shows the strategies employed to implement the MI theory as a competency-based approach within a university environment, that of CES Don Bosco, which has involved all the university BAs offered: Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Social education and Pedagogy and all the respective teachers.
