Abstract

This paper presents three activities with a common ground: the selection by university students from the BA in Primary education and the Ma in teacher training for Secondary School (Specialism in Geography and history) of their favourite woman in history. Although the three activities differ from each other, they have revealed two common aspects: 1) the selection of 20th and 21st-century women and 2) the importance given to social, and women’s rights based on the pioneer role of women in activities traditionally associated to the male gender.
