Visiting a Contemporary Art Museum

The present paper will share a series of pedagogical reflections around the impressions held by early childhood education students as they arrive to a modern and contemporary art museum and also when the leave the museum. It will be provided an analysis and reflection on the educational dimensions that a contemporary art museum may develop in young learners. We will talk about the teaching-learning possibilities and limitations implied, the social functions and mission, the context and the role, as well as the daily relation ships that occur amongst the agents involved.
