Abstract

This paper offers a compilation of different teaching materials and resources to approach folk tales with graduate students of the Degrees in Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. The materials described have been designed from diverse teaching approaches by university teachers who are experts on initial teacher training and belong to the ELLI (Literary Education and Children’s and Youth Literature) research group from the Complutense University of Madrid, Faculty of Education. The main aim of this paper is to share a set teaching experiences that have been successfully implemented in the Teacher Training Degrees, so that they might be of help both for university teachers and for future school teachers.
