Service-learning, historically linked to working, has grown and developed as an innovative strategy in secondary and tertiary education contexts, grounded on philosophical and pedagogical basis. service-learning has contributed to the community with quality solidary services for a long time integrating curriculum-based learning in the solidarity action thanks to the efficient support from institutional networks. educational centres promote spaces of encounter gathering educational and pastoral dimensions. Pastoral action as a well-planned service-learning is integrated within the school action plan, thus involving the whole educational community and sharing both human and Gospel values.
