Abstract

This article presents an educational innovation proposal designed to teach the concept of feudalism to a second-year Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) classroom using the cartulary of the Monastery of Santa María de Rioseco. This proposal is based on two interconnected methodological approaches: Project-Based Learning and Understanding by Design. The first section of the text outlines the theoretical aspects related to cartularies and understanding projects. The second section details the didactic proposal itself.
