Abstract

The Down Huesca Association collaborates with the Faculty of Human Sciences and Education at the University of Zaragoza to conduct service-learning (SL) projects that connect artistic education with disabilities. This article presents the project, which employs visual arts to support the emotional education of young people with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities. Using tactile materials and colour as an emotional channel, the project focuses on expressive and aesthetic outcomes. It is part of the Campus Opportunities for Inclusion Project, conducted with Teaching students and young people with Down syndrome or intellectual disabilities.
