Abstract
This article shows the implementation of an English Language programme in the former Yugoslavia by different Salesian Institutions in the new nations created after the wars in the nineties. The article describes the methodological and instructional procedures undertaken in a 4-year age period. It also provides some guidelines applicable to the Spanish lessons drawn from these experiences. The final message is an open hope of the human and educational values and stresses the importance of faith and love in education.
