Abstract

The starting point for this experiences is the so-called understanding school put into practice in St. Vicensç del Horts School in the Catalan region of Baix Llobregat near Barcelona, addressed to professional training. The labor competence is one of the best alternatives for those who want to leave school. It must be taken into account that about 25% of our students do not finish Secondary School, so flexible organization is a good choice that we show in order to improve the community development.
