Abstract

Our title highlights the concept of "Open class" for language learning, by which we mean a methodology open to the needs of the learner, open to the realty of a new century, open to communication and to responsivity. The learning of languages today is a need that, on many occasions, is not covered by the difficulty. It supposes; we question the adequacy of our teaching methods and after reviewing the traditional and structural methods, we come to the communicative approach and to methodology involving "Tasks", a methodology that channels our proposal of the "open class" and of the classroom as a physical space where authentic linguistic exchange is possible.
