Community Development through Social Education

Community development represents a strategic axis for social transformation by fostering active participation and collective engagement in identifying and addressing shared needs and challenges. This approach encourages community members to assume responsibility for their own development processes, strengthening social cohesion and collective identity. Social Education plays a key role within this framework by providing accompaniment, training and participatory strategies that enhance autonomy, empowerment and collective agency. The article highlights the potential of socio-educational practice to support sustainable and inclusive community development grounded in participation and shared responsibility.
