Implications and Impact of Cyberbullying

Abstract

Cyberbullying as a social phenomenon has started to be analysed quite recently.  Although it shares some characteristics with traditional bullying, it requires a more specific analysis. Throughout this article the effects and consequences of cyberbullying are analysed, with a focus on those cases that are especially serious because they affect transversally all the other socialisation spaces of the youngster, thus producing a continuous psychological harassment.
